Nickel Trade-In
We have had so many great patients that we are running low
on wooden nickels! Bring in your
wooden nickels and we’ll give you a certificate for the value of the
trade-in.
Also, if you have siblings or parents that have nickels,
you can pool the nickels & certificates to get an even larger prize
from the case.
Remember, you can receive your confirmation and reminder
notices of your next appointment through phone call or email, but not
both. Please let us know upon your next visit which
form of communication you would prefer.
We have WiFi and a laptop with a
printer available for our patients and their parents!
Dr. Bright and Team realize that patients do not like to
miss school but we can only accommodate so many after school
appointments. We ask that parents look over their children’s school
schedule so they will not have to miss the important classes because we
rotate during school and after school appointments.
If it is necessary to drop off your child for their
appointment, we ask that you please pick them up before our office
closes for lunch 12:00pm - 1:00pm and before the office closes
at 5:00pm.

EMERGENCY:
|
|
If you have an emergency during normal business hours,
please make sure to call the office (281) 599-1155, before showing up
unannounced. To be fair to
patients who have a scheduled appointment, we do not take walk-ins.
In case of an emergency after hours or on weekends the
first line you can call is (281) 610-2679 or the second line (832)
671-7179. There is a $25 cash fee for emergencies
that require a visit to the office during after hours or on
weekends. Our Emergency line is
for true emergencies only. All
other orthodontic needs or payment concerns can be addressed during
regular business hours.

HYGIENE:
|
|
All patients need to brush before
they are seen by Dr. Bright and Team. We have a toothbrush area
available for your use as soon as you finish checking in.
Please keep in mind there is a big difference between
"just" brushing your teeth and brushing your teeth
properly. Proper brushing requires both a consistent and
diligent effort from the patient. In order to maintain healthy teeth,
gums and generally good oral hygiene, Dr. Bright insists that all
patients remember to floss once a day and spend at least five (5)
consecutive minutes each time they brush.
Also, if the patient is here after lunch when the cookies
are out, please grab a cookie and put it aside or give it to Mom or Dad
to hold for you. The cookies and drinks are a treat for you after your
appointment.
Sports Mouth Guards
We have Orthodontic mouth guards for sports!!! They are available for purchase, $5
each mouth guard. Please do not
boil orthodontic mouth pieces as they are already pre-fitted for your
mouth. Boiling will only ruin the mouth guard.

Bright for sponsoring their team in the fall 2010 soccer season.

ONLINE PAYMENTS:

If you are registered on Orthosesame,
you can now make payments online. Credit Card, Debit Card or Checking
Account. You can check your payments and balance and see what
insurance has paid and you can print receipts. You get an email
appointment reminder and you can email us or make comments. For those
of you who do not know of Orthosesame you can
now register your e-mail in person at Dr. Bright's
Office, then you log in at www.brightbraces.com
to receive your password in order to activate orthosesame.

RECALL CLUB
|
|
RECALL CLUB: Is a club for our
patients who need braces but aren't quiet ready for them. The Treatment
Coordinator keeps the patient informed
every 6 months of their progress. Jannette,
the front desk Appointment Secretary, sends out reminder cards to
inform the patient of their next 6 months appointment. We keep the recall
patient informed on what is going on in the office between their 6
months visit. We have contests going on periodcally.
